Mohamed Suliman is a Sudanese writer and researcher based in Boston, widely recognised for his rigorous analysis of Sudan’s ongoing conflict and its humanitarian, political, and social consequences. His commentary features prominently in international outlets such as The New Arab, where his recent work focuses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and their extensive human rights violations during the war that began in April 2023. Suliman also writes for platforms including DCReport, Boston Herald, Middle East Monitor, Kyiv Post, and ZNetwork, contributing in‑depth reporting and opinion pieces on the dynamics of the Sudanese conflict, Gulf involvement, and patterns of disinformation that shape global understanding of the crisis.

 

He holds an engineering degree from the University of Khartoum in Sudan.
