Malvina Rodriguez is Professor of Communication and Politics at the Institute for Social Sciences, National University of Villa María (Córdoba), Argentina, where she has been teaching since 2000. She also holds the UNESCO Chair in Public Communication for Social Justice, Human Rights, and Territorial Development. Since 2016, she has served as Deputy Director of the Doctoral Program in Social Sciences at the same institution. Previously, Malvina Eugenia served as Head of the Institutional Communication Office at the University of Villa María (April 2018–November 2022) and as Executive Coordinator of the Network of Press and Institutional Communication Areas of Public Universities (RedIAP-Argentina, May 2020–November 2022). She was a Fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Germany) for her PhD studies at the University of Mainz and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg between 2004 and 2009, and a Fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, United States) in 2001. Malvina Eugenia holds a PhD in Social Sciences and Economics (University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany), a Master’s degree in International Relations, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication (University of Córdoba, Argentina). Her research interests include political communication, digital communication, gender and communication, citizen participation, public opinion, and international communication.
